And now, a new service wants to make it easier for creators to apply to work with brands, and for companies to hire them.“We’ve created a simple way for brands to create what is essentially a careers page for influencers,” said James Nord, 36, who is the founder and chief executive of Fohr.“It allows people to apply, pull in data from their social platforms and gives brands an easy way to recruit, analyze and work with influencers.”These companies pay Fohr to set up custom careers-style pages for them, where online creators can apply to work with brands.

With the latest version of the Pixel Stand app (version 1.4.0.358768116 rolling out now via the Play Store), it seems your Pixel phone will soon use the Pixel Stand to remind you when it’s time for bed. With this reminder, you’ll be given the option to “Go to bed,” which we believe will launch your preferred “Sleep sounds” from the Google Clock app as well as activate the Pixel’s built-in Bedtime Mode which can trigger things like grayscale display and Do Not Disturb.

The Pixel’s powerful Recorder app can now automatically backup to Google Drive. Google Fit can use your Pixel’s front-facing camera and computer vision to measure respiratory rate by detecting small changes on your chest as you breathe. Pixel phones now work with the Kraken Sports Universal Smart Phone Housing (KRH04 or KRH03) to capture marine life and seascapes. Google touts this as giving users the ability to “capture the same kinds of high quality images they’re accustomed to above water, and do it underwater without the cumbersome cameras and cases scuba drivers have traditionally used.”

The next software update for the Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, Pixel 4, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, and Pixel 5 is now available. Coinciding with a Pixel Feature Drop, the March security patch also includes the usual set of bug fixes. There are 11 issues resolved in the March security patch dated 2021-03-01 and 27 for 2021-03-05. In the last Android Security & Privacy Year in Review, Google notes that “no critical security vulnerabilities affecting the Android platform were publicly disclosed without a security update or mitigation available for Android devices.” Additionally, there was an 84% year-over-year jump in security patches during Q4 2018 compared to the prior year.
